He got the roast beef, mashed potatoes w/ brown gravy and a side of green beans. They were all great!
Charlie's is a great place for actual home cooked style food. They are lovely people who know how to prepare good food, and the prices are fair too. It's a cozy little place where the local people come every day, where everyone knows everyone. We are new to the area and today was our first visit. We weren't disappointed! I got the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. One of my all time favorites! It's definitely going to be added to our list of good places to eat.

We recently moved to the area. Just ate here for the first time today. I've been craving biscuits and gravy for days! The biscuits and gravy were on spot to hit the spot. Skillet cornbread to complete my beans for my afternoon meal. I haven't tried those yet. The jalapeno poppers were cream cheese filled and the ranch dressing tasted homemade but I'm not sure that it is so don't quote me on that one. Coffee was .85 cents! Finally a place that doesn't charge $3 for one cup of plain coffee! Thank you! They didn't have half and half but they had milk. I probably could have asked for half and half but didn't think to do so. That would be my fault for not asking specifically.
I love places that serve breakfast all day like Charlie's Cafe. It's a small cozy place. You can tell its a family driven business. Home cooked food that tastes delicious.
They are open 7 days a week from 7am-8pm. They seem to post things on their fb page quite frequently so it might be good to check them out there to see if anything new is going on for the day you plan on going.
One thing we forgot... Dessert! Ahhhhh! Word on the streets, they have wonderful homemade desserts! I'm the queen of eating delicious desserts(not making them lol). I will have to go back and get me "somma" that!
